As our RX 9070 XT review showed, this AMD GPU is the champion of the mid-range market, with a fantastic price/performance ratio that makes it the best graphics card to buy for around $600. However, despite assurances from AMD that RX 9070 stock would be plentiful at launch, cards have quickly sold out so you’ll have to be quick on the draw to grab one.
The official RX 9070 XT price is $599 / $865 CAD / £569 / AU$870, so that’s the price you should be hoping to pay for entry-level versions of the GPU. However, card makers such as Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, and Sapphire also produce souped up overclocked cards that demand more money, but we wouldn’t recommend paying more than $100 above those MSRPs.
Where to buy the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT
The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT went on sale on March 6, 2025, at 2pm, and despite evidence that stock levels were decent, it still mostly sold out quite quickly. This follows similarly high demand and a rapid disappearance of RTX 5090 stock and RTX 5070 stock. In fact, all of Nvidia’s just-launched cards are very hard to get, as is AMD’s slightly slower 9070 card, the RX 9070. So, be sure to check all the stores below for your region to see if you can grab a card when it appears.
